DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement number 92-TJ-007 between the Iowa Department of Transportation, City of Janesville and Black Hawk County transferred Unsigned Iowa 969 to the City of Janesville and Black Hawk County on August 11, 1994.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that Unsigned Iowa 969 in Janesville and the rural section be deleted from the Primary Road System.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to the relocation of US 218 in Black Hawk County in 1993 the old section became Unsigned Iowa 969 and the Primary Road System should be revised to reflect this change.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that Unsigned Iowa 969 in Black Hawk County as described in the attachment, be added to the Primary Road System.

New Description - Unsigned Iowa 969 and its extensions in Black Hawk County described as follows:

Beginning at the NW Corner Section 13-T90N-R14W; thence northerly along the section lines of 12 and 1-T90N-R14W to the south corporation line of Janesville connecting with an unnamed street.

Janesville:

Beginning at the south corporation line connecting with an unnamed street; thence northerly, northwesterly, and westerly along the Black Hawk-Bremer County line to a point approximately 500 feet west of the Cedar River (see Bremer County).
